RFA Internships

If you are a student or recent graduate interested in gaining experience and leaning new skills in international broadcasting and related disciplines, an unpaid RFA internship could be ideal.


RFA generally offers three-month internships corresponding with academic Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.


Currently, RFA is accepting resumes for the Summer 2012 term in the following areas: Mandarin, Cantonese, Tibetan, Vietnamese, or Korean language services; Editorial Division, Communications Department; Technical Operations Division.


RFA internships do not, in any way, constitute a promise of future employment with RFA.

Contract Services

Uyghur Service stringers needed.  RFA’s Uyghur Service has contract opportunities for “stringers” in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and England.  Stringers are paid by the piece for filing acceptable news reports (with photos/video/sound-bites) on newsworthy subjects pertaining to the Uyghur population in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
