On the occasion of the Burmese new year, we salute the people of Burma photographed earlier this year by Tyler Chapman.
In a country where monks and ordinary citizen risk their lives for speaking their minds, Chapman still found a lot to be hopeful for: kindness, love of life and spiritual resiliency. Happy New Year, people of Burma!
