Let's see what will happen next. Anything can happen here because the case is linked Lao politburo. If Haoheuang family is still strong and still controls Lao politburo Mr Sisouk Daoheuang will walk soon.

Lao DPR authorities are just playing another drama and there are no differences than any other cases in the past. This drug kingpin can get out any time he wants to... the law is for Lao gov't and not Lao citizens.

MisaoFan :

If they're arresting a number of drug dealers, then why the hell Sombath is not released?

That said drug detention centers in the country are useless. They even treat some ethnic minority individuals and beggars like dirt and these centers don't really offer anything that's really about redeeming treatment of drug abusers.

Not everything is clear yet about Mr Sisouk Daoheuang's arrest - linked to Daoheuang Coffee plantation - and the investigation is going on right now. It seems that various factions are fighting to get control of the politburo.
