RFA is seeking a professional multimedia editor to provide video and multimedia editing services to its Korean Service in its Washington, DC, headquarters.

Scope of work to include: Enhancing video multimedia storytelling in support of the Korean Service’s Korean and English language projects; helping the planning and development of multimedia and video-oriented projects in a fast-paced editorial environment with the highest journalistic standards; providing support for the Korean Services' video and social media efforts; performing hands-on graphic and visual production work for the Korean Service and English Editorial team; studying current and new techniques relevant to various social media platforms and sharing new technical knowledge with Korean Service staff members; creating multimedia and visual templates for the Korean Service and other groups to use; and other duties as assigned.

Work requirements include fluency in spoken and written Korean and working proficiency in English; ability to shoot, edit, and produce video stories; superb video and multimedia editing skills (Adobe Premiere and other Adobe CC suite programs); social media management skills; news multimedia storytelling skills. Previous journalism experience is preferred.
