Dear Editor

These Chinese Military veterans deserve support.

They did a job for their nation which is laudable.

They fought against my country and the US as ordered.

General Rommel fought for Germany not for National Socialism.

Rommel was on the wrong side of history and effected the deaths of too many Australians.


I make no remark on the calibre of the Chinese government.

The remains of US vets are expected to be released soon according to VOA.

Mr Trump made no deal re Australian and New Zealand troop's remains.

The families of the deceased of other nations from the UK to Canada and China would like to have closure.

The disrespect of military dead is objectively sacrilegious even for an atheist.

The Chinese vets deserve respect.

Defending one's homeland is a duty and dignified.I must remark that the straight jacket of totalitarianism is unstrapped belt by belt.

Using body bags as political chips is deeply, grossly and fetidly immoral.
