Wangchuk from NYC :

Discrimination against Tibetans is very common by Chinese Govt. They have different rules for Tibetans & minorities vs. Han Chinese who have more freedom. Tibetans are restricted in their travels within & between Tibetan areas but Chinese visitors to Tibet face no such restrictions. In essence, China has imposed an apartheid system in Tibet.

Wangchok from Newyork :

Passport is your gateway to freedom and free society, the Chinese is curbing it now. As Tibetan people are not allowed the legal way, then that is the reason Tibetans escaping without any paper. Such discriminatory policy is a really shame. No country in the world is denying its citizens the right to hold passports. It is cruel and inhumane policy to lock them in a giant prison like Tibet. They fear Tibetans who travel internationally expose their big lies.

This mesure is already implimented in xinjiang, the uyghur people could not get passport, and for those have alreay, they have to submit the passport to police, now the chinese government impose the same rule to Tibet.chinese han people living in xinjiang and tibet could have passport at any time, even they could apply it via internet. The discrimination by the chinese government to tibet and uyghur have been lasting for many years.
