Ibby from Canada :

I believe the Uighurs aren’t a real danger and just want to be left in peace. Unfortuantely, the totalitarian and oft racist Beijing government is disrespectful of fundamental human rights and universal values.

US Government continues to blow up mosques, hospitals, and anything under the sun in the Middle East. They even do it remotely from drones to help preserve their fragile conscience from doublethink.

RFA deserve great praise for continuing to highlight the human rights violations taking place in Xinjiang, especially considering the harassment and detentions RFA journalists' families living in the region have had to endure at the hands of the Chinese authorities. It's a further testament to RFA's fundamental respect for free speech that it is willing to publish, as seen below, comments from readers whose sentiments amount to expressions of approval for large scale ethno-religious persecution and the arbitrary internment of countless people the great majority of whom have committed no crime under Chinese law.

Amdam from Hongkong :

I have already seen those 5 cent working for the Communist Party, started to paint a negative pictures of followers of Islam or those of Uyghur in East Turkistan in this very comment section of the article. It shows them how ignorant they are. Mosques are places of worship, not breeding ground of terrorists. It is a holy place, where people dedicate themselves to service of God, or to the service of humanity. Mosques are scared place, where people train themselves to become a better and more kinder or compassionate person. The demolish of the mosques, under any pretext by the Chinese authorities can not be justified. It makes the Uygur people to hate the Chinese communists all the more. This is a trampling on your head, and such bully will never go responded.

Places where terrorists are brainwashed and indoctrinated need to be demolished and mosques are such places.

The fast ban according to many resources are for government workers, who are necessarily members of the CPC. And it is not a ban on ordinary people.

Leonard from Hialeah :

If you have a violent religion, and it wants to supersede the State, it can be of no help to anybody outside of that religion. The mosque is a symbol that a land was conquered by Islam.
Since they would overthrow the State, and the mosque is what keeps them together, then it is time to get rid of that mosque.
