Amir from Urumqi :

I am a foreign student studying in Xinjiang. Last year's autumn we were forced to install this APP as well. They would check every student whether he/she really installed it or not. Later I had just deleted it.

The authorities are creating enemies of the state where there were none or very few.

Abuse the people, and it will be opposed.

The battle for hearts and minds of the people can only be won through doing good for them, and not picking quarrels with the people.

Wakeup Xi and old man Jiang Zemin, you are responsible for this worsening of the trust of the people.

"This new technology means that Uyghurs have lost whatever privacy they might have had, making it extremely dangerous for them to express any dissent or dissatisfaction,” he said. “This reminds everyone that they are constantly being monitored, and this ‘automated repression’ is truly something unprecedented, and again shows how Orwellian life has become for Uyghurs"

The Uyghurs asked for it when they went on arampage in 2009 culminating in the government cracking down on them ever since.
