Beyond justice? 25 years since a deadly grenade attack in Cambodia


Twenty-five years ago, a grenade attack hit a rally by Cambodian opposition party leader Sam Rainsy, leaving 16 dead. No one has faced justice for one of Cambodia’s most notorious acts of political violence. But a case brought in a French court by Rainsy, who has dual citizenship, has rekindled hopes for justice. The court found that two bodyguards of Prime Minister Hun Sen were behind it.
