In the deadliest day since the Myanmar military ousted the government of Aung San Suu Kyi a month ago, security forces killed at least 18 demonstrators and wounded more than 30 on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021. The violence took place in at least six major cities, including Yangon and Mandalay.
